Went to see The Submarines last night at Webster Hall - I hadn't been there before and first off I loved it - very cool place, divey bar downstairs, then a huge old almost barn-like room upstairs with more bars and a stage, and weirdly balcony seating, pink lights and Buddhas everywhere....I tried to make some pictures but they didn't come out too well (I NEED a GOOD digital camera! Its killing me!). Regardless, the show was really good too - its possible that Emily and i were the only people there who knew who The Submarines were, or had heard any of their stuff - but people should really be checking them out! They are good!! They have a video for their song "Peace and Hate" on Google Video - have a look yourself!
