So this is a bit late but I had to post it -we went to see OK Go at Jones Beach last week w/ Tim and Emily.....we found the evening totally fascinating and here is what we learned:
* Jones Beach is a dry stadium (Tim: "wow, didn't see that coming")
* When you are the only people in line for the women's room who are actually "women" you have every right to cut the line....you are older and therefore earned it.
* OK Go are really fun and also really cute
* Cell phones are the new lighter
* When the sky suddenly looks like this, run like hell:
* Umbrellas are useless in 50 mph wind.
* When stuck at the train station in Long Island because the Long Island Rail Road has stopped running due to extreme weather, find the most normal looking people you can (this isn't easy) and stand very close to them - they may find a big white van and then you can all bond on a soggy and scary ride home to Grand Central Station.
* Whenever possible, don't leave Manhattan.
* Or at very least - don't go to Long Island.
