A few weeks ago I went to the TASTE OF THE LOWER EAST SIDE, a benefit for the Grand Street Settlement (scroll down for the blog post about this very cool event!).
Well...while I was there I got a LITTLE excited about the silent auction (coughcoughOBSESSEDcoughcough) and ended up bidding $50 more on an item that it was worth...and won! So three-hundy later this foot long box of make up - green eye shadow and all - is mine!
Expensive? Yes. Worth it so I don't have to set foot into that overwhelming sea of overpriced bottles of crap I'll never use (Sephora) again for years? Absolutely.
